In Shenzhen’s dense Longhua district, Perkins&Will transforms a 6-meter site elevation into a nearly 3,000㎡ elevated garden—a “Life Green Island” and vertical healing courtyard. ARCHINA Architecture China sees this layered greenery as an antidote to urban density, letting nature quietly soothe and orient. A modular medical street and “patients front, staff rear” zoning streamline circulation, balancing efficiency with dignity. Lightweight partitions and phased relocation strategies turn future uncertainty into proactive design. The hospital urgently sought to enhance both the working and healing environments through expansion and renovation. Centered on the vision of creating a first-class regional medical center, Perkins&Will has designed a highly efficient and human-centered healthcare environment for the Longhua Branch.
項目整體计划床位1000张，一期新建修建面积13.5万平方米，二期新建及改扩建修建面积总计6.6万平方米，功效涵盖門急診、醫技、住院、體檢中間等。一期于2024年末正式投入利用，二期正有序推動。
With the planned capacity of 1,000 beds, the new hospital wi卸妝洗臉,ll be delivered in two phases: 135,000 sqm in Phase I and 66,000 sqm in Phase II, bringing together outpatient,inpatient,emergency, diagnostic & therapeutic, and health examination center under one comprehensive medical hub. Phase I was officially co妹妹issioned at the end of 2024, and Phase II is now progressing as scheduled.
